looked back over the posts and I don't see the date of the retreat. when is it? I'm thinking, that's only a 5-6 hour drive for me.

have read all of the Elm Creek Quilters series and it sounds like so much fun.

Oh, dear, with our retreats being haunted by gremlins, I'm just not sure you can compare them to the Elm Creek Quilters retreats. LOL

Debbie the retreat is at the Stone Castle hotel in Branson it is not a place that just hold retreats ,even though it should be ..LOL Yes it is 200.00 for the 7day 6night stay and will include a wonderful breakfast ,not just rolls and juice. If you decided you would like to attend ,please let me know and I will add you to the list . Money for retreat is due around the first of January .We do have a fabulous time at these retreats and the wonderful friends made can not even be described. Barbara

Is that hotel and quilting retreat? wow! $ 200 - I've never been to a quilting retreat but would love to go, have read all of the Elm Creek Quilters series and it sounds like so much fun.

Just want to let everyone know I have several spots open for the retreat in March. If anyone is interested please contact me and I'll get you on the list . If you have never been to a retreat they are so much fun , and we get great things done. This is being held in the very nice Stone Castle Hotel in Branson, Mo. So come on and have fun with us . Diana - that is something one of these days that I want to do - Paducah and the quilt museum... I might never leave that place if I get in there... Oh what fun!

Maybe someone else that is coming from that direction could pick up Sukochi? I would so love to meet her.

Yes, I am going, but I have a rider already. Andrea is going with me. She's driving to my house and then driving to Paducah the first day and doing a bit of visiting the Quilt Museum and Eleanor Burns place. Then to Branson the next day. My car will be full. If there is someone else who would like to caravan with me, I'll be glad to caravan but my car is a Chevy HHR...like a small delivery truck but 2 people with all the machines, luggage, and quilt stuff, it will be full.

Oh Barbara, you are so right about this and I really would like to come but I just don't have the enough vacation days at that time of the year. It is such a great deal!! I hope when I retire I'll be able to make more of the retreats in other areas of the US. I will be looking forward to the photos.

Oh, rats.. I just asked Jim and he said NO!. We would have to board all four critters and we are paying the airfare for our son to come up for several days in mid April.

Shoot. Maybe another time. I will get to a retreat someday.
