My DH is waiting for shoulder surgery due to rotator cuff so his lifting and movements are limited *sigh*.
Around the people I know they don't have kitchen scales it seems. I know some have them but never use them. I have managed to have the priveledge to not get stranded once this weekend but twice. It seems when its not convient for anyone including me. I am 3 days behind on erronds and 3 days oif stress daily added. I have taken a little time each day to find my machine and do something....its cheaper than sleeping pills or muscle relaxers.

I won't explain the horrid weekend *pulls hair out* just highlights. My truck left me stranded thanks to the altenator and battery not once but twice. Atleast the first time I had a good lunch at a small local bar I had never been to. Then I cut my fabric wrong for my next project. I couldn't stop there I had to dump rabbit poo down the front of me including in my shoe. Today after long meeting I managed to find out oh yeah the battery you replaced on Friday isn't the problem its the altenator.....*screams why my fabric money*. I am hoping that when I get up in the morning the new week will be better than this last week I only spoke here of 3 days I don't want to remember the other 4 days of the week.

We didn't either until DH started making no-knead bread. You need a scale to measure the flour accurately for breadmaking.

I'm actually using it a lot right now for portion control on my New Year healthy eating plan. It really helps with measuring how many ounces are in a serving.
