&lt;p&gt;Here are my links to the ironing board we had our husbands make out of plywood.&amp;nbsp; You can see a picture it fits over our standard ironing boards.&amp;nbsp; We just used heat resistent batting / insulbright and canvas to cover.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It suits the purpose ... it is customized to our boards and cheap... Hope this helps you.&lt;/p&gt;

I had little legs put onto the bottom and little holes (OK, these are brass) drilled into the countertop. The picture I have included was taken when I was redoing my room but you can get the idea. I have heard that if you make a small lip on the bottom you can lay it on top of your regular board the lip will keep it from sliding off. I think having it on top of the dressers takes up less space in my room.&lt;/p&gt;
