I wanted to edit my post but Thea&amp;#39;s pops up. Here&amp;#39;s my addition. I scan my design to the computer, then adjust to larger or smaller, if desired, before printing. &lt;p&gt;answer: 1) use gold paper - you can see through it and copy your design - spray baste with water soluble onto your quilt and sew through the paper&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 2) use vellum paper and scan your design into your computer - copy onto the vellum paper - sew through it&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;3) &amp;nbsp;make a stencil of your design and cut through it but not all the way - leave spaces so the design can stay there - then use chalk like pounce and copy the design onto your quilt&lt;/p&gt;
