&lt;p&gt;I&amp;nbsp;agree with Spudgrandma. I&amp;#39;d&amp;nbsp; pick a thread that blends with quilt, a nutural. Variegated sounds good too. One that has the quilt colors in it. I have never used the invisible thread either. Considered it, bought it but not used it.&amp;nbsp; If you do, check &amp;nbsp;your manual or the thread company you bought your invisible thread from as to the tension and needle to use with your machine and no, I would not use it in the bobbin. I would use a So Fine or Bottom Line in the bobbin.&amp;nbsp; Let us know how it goes.&lt;/p&gt;

Hi windingriver and welcome to QCA.  I use the same color for the whole quilt, if you try to match each block you would be changing thread constantly.  I use a lot of variegated thread and sorry I cannot answer your question about the invisible thread as I have never used it. Again, welcome!
