Nana:I always wanted to live on a farm but the most I have had is dogs and cats.
I just caught this now, Nana... You could mention to Bobbie Joe that some of your dogs are nearly horses!

That's true. They are small horses. Young children could ride them.

Bobbie Jo. Aren't goats wonderful? My daughter volunteers for a goat rescue sanctuary here in Northwestern Washington. She's ended up taking three goats home, so far. We all recently walked in the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run/Walk. We walked with our dog and she brought one of her goats. The photo of Odie and my daughter made the newspaper. This goat was the hit of the whole event. Pictures of him have been popping up everywhere.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Fun picture, Judy! Your daughter has a great smile!
Judy,
pretty daughter. She looks like you. Cool goat.
Your daughter is lovely, Judy! Did mom make the bag she has hanging from her neck?

Thanks Kris, she is a pretty girl but that was a terrible photo of her on the front page of the paper. She didn't care. All she cared about was that it was a good picture of Odie! He is a cool critter and loved all the attention.
Deanna and I really don't look much alike except at odd times and expressions. Although now that she's nearing 44, when she looks in the mirror she thinks "Good Lord Mother, what are you doing here?"
Marie: Your daughter is lovely, Judy! Did mom make the bag she has hanging from her neck?
Nope, she probably picked it up during her travels.

I love the photo of your DD and Odie. So cute.
I'm excited to be able to join this thread. DH and I recently decided to get chickens. We placed our order for chicks and started work on the coop last week. My aunt who I'm very close to has raised ducks and peacocks, but this will be my first time with poultry. I'm very excited.
Here's a picture of our progress so far. Yes, that wall is a little wonky. This is our first building project. If that's the biggest problem we run into, I'll be more than happy!
.
Carolyn,
can't wait to see the chicks. You and you DH are doing a good job with the coop.
Here's a little something for all the dogs...

Want to show everybody our visitor to the farm yesterday.
Also, wanted to show you who came today!
IT'S A BOY!
Now I just have to come up with a name!
That little man is so handsome. I know his momma is proud. I could just cuddle with him....so sweet. Love the eagle.
