All fur babies.  I just want you to know how angry I am.   My mom is leaving for another retreat.  I think she has been on enough retreats for one year....bah humbug

What ---- how could she!!!!!  I know that Papa Lewis isn't there all day with you.  How could she just up and leave you like that again.  But don't feel bad.  Calley and Pickles and Orca and Ocho are in the same boat, Their Moms are on their way to the same place!  What is this world coming to?

Wow - this is one talented little Jack Russell.  I am glad I don't have to work that hard to get my kibble!

Yeah Copper, go, go, go!   Super dog!  Copper, my friends blood hound just has his first rescue.  Trailed a man with severe dementia 5 miles to a tavern on the water front.  Bartender paid a taxi to take the man to a mission for the night, but when the man got there, he decided not to stay.  Shortly thereafter, the police found him getting ready to sleep under a bridge., in an area of town they never would have looked for him, had it not been for Copper.

We don't get this thing about time change.  We don't care what the clock says, our tummies say it's dinner time!  Come on, dad, get up!

~Calley & Pickles

(Mom, quit laughing! We're serious!)

Mom here.  These two are hysterical.  The last few days, they've planted themselves at Randy's feet at the old daylight savings time dinner hour and they just stare at him until he caves in. I don't know if we'll ever get them switched to the new time.

Ha - these humans are so silly changing the clocks back and forth.  Don't they know that we tell time by our tummies????

Yea, Mac, by our tummies and the sun.  Dinner should be coming sooner and sooner.  My nighttime sleep is almost 11 hours now.  Who wants to get up when it is still dark?  (Mom tells me our days are shorter than yours up north here.)

It is getting dark around 5:30 and I think it gets light around 6:30 but I don't get up that early so I'm not sure about that.  We are curled up nice and snug in the doggie mansion and don't want to get up until we hear the garage door opening.  :o) When does it get dark in Minn.????

Well, it's not quite 5:30 here now, and it's already totally dark.  I'll ask mom to look up the sun chart...

~Calley

I'm back.  Mom says that today, Nov. 6, the sun rose at 7:05 a.m. and set at 4:54 p.m.  On Dec. 21, the shortest day, the sun will rise at 7:57 a.m. and set at 4:29 p.m.  I like summer's long days better!

Calley and Pickles

You guys are too funny.  But I agree this time changing makes no sense.  Hope you succeed in keeping your dinner hour adjusted to "tummy time" instead of clock time.

Ah - Heaven.  Mom put turkey and gravy in our kibble.  Plus she had some to share with our friend Tasha next door too.  What a great Mom we have to think about us on Thanksgiving. We hope all of our fur baby friends got a special treat for Thanksgiving too.

Now remember to be good so that Santa will stop by your house with toys and treats on Christmas.
