Hello Everyone!

I'm a little slow introducing myself, I'm Brenda from Auburn, California. Have been quilting off and on for,... oh let's see... hate to say this...close to 40 years now. I was about 16 and when sewed a bunch of 6" squares together.

In the 80's it took about a year for me to finish a quilt back thenit was hand quilted/hand appliqued . Now, I use the machine for just about everything and get done a lot faster. Stitch-in-the-ditch is my main quilting technique. I like the free motion way but my machine makes me mad skipping stitches and I've been-there-done-that with all the fixes. Oh well, one day it will fix itself.

I enjoy entering the Quilt challenges with Keepsake quilting, Hoffman & Kaufman. The lastest challenge is the Naval Aviation Quilt Challenge. (My husband was in the Navy).

I thank you all for all the nice comments on the quilts I have posted. It's like having your own private Quilt show. And I love seeing everybody elses quilts.

Welcome to QCA, Brenda!  It was nice to read your intro, and I just now looked at your gallery.  Wow!  You do beautiful work.  I especially love the applique elements.

Welcome!  You are one Talented quilter!  I love everything from your airplanes to the three lambs.  My father was a pilot so I loved your planes and  the three lambs were so sweet and I thought they could come visit me! :)  But now I know that's your favorite so I guess they'll have to stay with you.  :)
