You know gals........ This place that Barbara found looks like it could hold a lot more than 12 sewers even th ough it only sleeps 12. Perhaps there are some hotels nearby where you could put other retreaters up. If rooms are shared, the expenses would be doable for the most part.

Marge,thats a possibility, if other want to come .it would have to be their deicision . but the the house will only sleep 12. I do agree that more could be there during the day for interaction.and there does appear to be plenty of sewing room. I have not closed this event if more want to attend. You would have to get a hotel which there are plenty of , and yes sharing would cut down on expense..Barbara

First of all, thank you for all your hard work in getting this retreat put together. Pleasing a bunch of strangers has got to be difficult. Please keep Susan and I on your guest list as far a sewing room but we will opt to stay at a hotel and meet for sewing during the day. I hope that helps others to be able to attend.

PS - Nana, it looks like I'm doing all three trips. DH is cool with going to Leavenworth via Amtrak. My first year of retirement is shaping up to be a very fun, very quilty year! Come on, you can do one more trip!

The only way I could do this one is if Marge goes and we meet up somewhere. Also it will depend on the cost. Have to see if I can afford a third trip. But it does sound awesome.....
