I'm not the brightest bulb but I'll try.  I've been quilting for about 5 years but still think of myself as a beginner.  I seam to be getting better with each quilt.

Right now I'm making a very easy quilt with oriental material for my husband for our 13th anniversary.

Peggy,

Welcome to the Forums!  I too still consider myself to be a beginner also.  I've been quilting since 2001 and I know I'm not the sharpest needle in the pack! LOL!!  I think it's pretty neat you making a quilt for your hubby of 13 years--Congratulations and Welcome to QCA!!!  Hope to see bunches of posts from you!!!

Peggy

Welcome to the site.  Hope you drop in and chat with us often.  I have been quilting about 7 yrs and in many things I am still very much a beginner.  Congratulations on your 13th anniversary.

Peggy :
I'm not the brightest bulb

peggy, i'm not so good on ladders,  actually i'm not so hot off them either, but that's my only fault.  : )

i think when you have completed one quilt, you are no longer a beginner, you have more skills at quilting than you think you do.  welcome,  this is a fun group and i hope you join us in forums and we love to see everyone's work, so when you get  comfortable here we would love to see pics of your quilts      gini

Greetings Peggy!   Welcome to the group!  Some days my bulb just has a short-circuit and doesn't stay too bright.  I think quilting is one of those things you can always learn more about.  There's always new techniques, new threads, new battings, new tools......its fun to just try and keep up!

Peggy ~ WELCOME to our group.  I know that your will love it here.  Lately, Nana has been doing new projects with us and I don't know about the others, but I feel like a beginner.  But then I am more comfortable.  Hope you post some pics and jump right into some of the projects we are doing.  Congrats on you lucky # 13 Anniversary.
