Sarah, your quilts and blocks are lovely. Especially like the heart quilt. Welcome to the group.

Wow! Hand pieced! I can't even imagine doing one let alone all of these and then some. I hope you find the quilt all assembled, would love to see it. Great job on the blocks, it took a lot of patience for you to do I'm sure.
Daisy - WELCOME to QCA and thanks for sharing you beautiful quilts with us. I am from CA. I live in Susanville. I work at one of the two state prisons in our town. It is so nice to have you join us. You will find lots of help and ideas and fun stuff to do here. Your DD is a little cutie!! Again, welcome and hope you enjoy you time with us.
Thank you for sharing pics of your lovely quilts and sampler blocks. You've done great work on all of them and I look forward to seeing more from you. Oh, and welcome to QCA.
Welcome to the group. Your quilts are beautiful. I am sure that you will love the conversations that go one in this forum. I read them while at lunch and love to see pictures of quilts that others have created.
Thanks for sharing photos of some of your work. The hand piecing is really nice - I'm not that patient!
Keep finding time to join in the conversations - we love hearing from everyone :-)
Sarah, those are great blocks! I admire anyone who does hand piecing and quilting.
Hi Judy. My name is Cathy. It says you admire anyone who does hand piecing and quilting. I take it you use a machine, but I find a certain satisfaction in taking the time to do my piecing and quilting by hand.
Yes, it takes longer but I think it makes the quilt more memorable to the person who receives it. Just my opinion and I could be wrong.
hi cathy, welcome, this is a great place for quilters. when you find the time i would love to see some pictures of your quilts. gini

I truly admire anyone that does hand piecing and quilting. I probably would have tried it when I was younger but by the time I started quilting I had arthritis in my hands and now am unable to hold a needle long enough to do mine by hand.
Hi Cathy. Welcome to the group.
I still hand piece from time to time but most of my quilts end up as hybrids (a little of both). Carpal tunnel syndrome is making it more and more difficult for me to hand quilt. So it will be a very special person who gets the next hand quilted piece.
