Learned a new way to pin quilts and I'm so excited about it. I should have figured this one out before but truthfully never thought about it. Instead of pinning on the floor or table (when I can find one available) I use a wall. Tape my backing up with blue painters tape, tape the batting next with only a couple pieces on the corners and then the top. Pin together after everything is lined up. It works great for small quilts like the ones I make for Project Linus or wall hangings. Haven't tried anything larger than say 50". No more crawling around on the floor!
and, I use pinmoors for pinning, no more sore fingers
