I am having problems with cutting either its my cutter or me? I am making the Summer Jewel 5 1/2 in square some are small and one is larger than what I should be cutting I can't figure out what is wrong can someone help me or direct me some where to show me how?

Terry, are you sewing a consistent 1/4" seam?  it doesn't take much, for a 5.5" square to be off, if your seams are not exact.  I'm not familiar with the block pattern you are using but seam inaccuracy can mess you up, I know from experience.  also, be sure to press seams open because that will cause slight adjustments.  hope that helps

Thank You,  this pattern is a  2- 2  1/2 in strips sewn i/4in ( how to say this) sewn together like tube 2 on facing together, one on bottom facing upward top one facing down. Then cut on 0 ruler angled 5 1/2 in. on seam. unfold and have a 5 1/2 in square. But I think I am doing what she said but my squares are not 5 1/2". I just do not want to scrap all this nice fabric.

I've never made them this way.   your seam needs to be a scant 1/4 inch, just a hair smaller than  t1/4 inch.  I would try making the seam smaller and seeing if that works
