I love making these pillow cases. MargeP posted a pattern ages ago. It's called the Hot Dog construction method.

Takes me maybe 10 minutes to cut out and sew a case. It takes me much much longer to decide on fabrics. I have four made so far and can't seem to stop.

My sister and niece are coming for a visit later this month. I'll send them home with a couple.

I love your pillow cases, Judy! I like that hot dog method too but I add the French Seams.

Definitely French Seams. The pattern I have does specify the French Seams.

Judy, I love your pillowcases. Is this one patchwork or several different ones? I can't tell on the pic. Love the colors.

Love the pillowcases, Judy! What a great way to use up leftover, stash fabrics, or justify a trip to the LQS! Great gift idea! I'll need to make some of these. Thanks for the inspiration!  :)

Great Pillow cases Judy.  I  made one for my grandson with lots of puppies.  Is the burrito stile the same?  I also used French seams. I have to take a picture.

I enjoyed your pillow cases!  I also make pillow cases and donate to our local children's hospital.  But my favorite thing to do is to make seasonal pillow cases for my grand daughter.  The pillow cases depict a monthly holiday  theme with a special one for her birthday.  She loves receiving them in the mail.

Thanks everyone. I love making these pillow cases. I made 26 a couple years ago for Mary Bridge children's hospital.

Very nice Judy. I also make these. I made some about 3 years ago and taught my grandaughter how to make them on her new machine I gave her. I made 2 each for the boys from the fabric I made their quilts from.

Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
