Hi everyone:  I had a pattern for a block Iris quilt pattern I purchased at a quilt show in Pa. years ago.  It was applique.  I finally decided I wanted to make it and use my machine to satin stitch for the applique.  Have looked high and low for that pattern and can't find it.  I even bought fabric to make those iris's.  If you have the pattern or know where I could purchase it AGAIN, please let me know.

Thanks,

Joyce

Wish I could help you. I googled Iris quilt pattern and it brought up quite a few, but since I don't know exactly what you are looking for I did not click on any. Good luck.

My mom has a quilt with this block on it, I think it is pretty. Since you have not stated more about the block, it's hard to know what to look for to help you.

Thank you Spudgrandma & zoe .  Zoe that iris is close but not the same.  I sure wish I could find that pattern.  Knowing me I may have gotten in a cleaning out mode and decided I would never make it and pitched it.  I never do that with my quilting things but life has been so hetic and crazy the past couple years.  Who knows.  I can;t remember who had published the pattern.  It was a full size quilt and each square had a iris and it was all applique.  I did find something in a book I have that I might be able to use.  But first I have a zillion other projects to finish.  One is a quilt for my youngest granddaughter.

Thanks ladies,

Joyce--Take a look at the attached. I have the line diagram for the rose iris. I made this hanging working from photos of irises I had in my garden. The original design that I used for my templates was from a series of quilt books called Quilts Made Easy if I remember correctly. I can scan the diagram and email it you if it would be helpful to you.

Agnes that is perfect.  Almost exactly what I remember the pattern being like.  I would love it it you would email me the pattern.  I will pay you for it.  I think they were like the red iris but I love the different ones you have done.  I will friend you so I can send you my email address or can you see it?

Thank you,

I have approved the friend request. Now we can carry on the conversation further privately.

Suckochi--Thank you.

Joyce--I have sent you a few replies. I have found previously that once I have received the email message for the initial request I get no more emails probably because I am set to no email notifications.

I'll share another iris hanging here, just because the topic is Iris.
