Diane, I love the quilt and your feathers are great! Would you mind sharing the name of the pattern? I would like to try it sometime. Thanks.
weezee56:Kris thank you for the info on the stool
You're welcome Weezee.
Thea:I got the stirrup chair like Kris told me she had gotten - she didn't give me a name brand so I just searched and read the reviews and found one that had great reviews and so far I like it.
Thea I don't even know the brand name. I tried it at the show then when I got home there was a catalog with the stool in it. I'm happy it was a good choice for you.
didash:And here's the quilt...not a great pic but it is outside drying after washing...needs to be ironed/blocked then wrapped for Christmas :)
Very nice Diane. Great job. Do you have my address? LOL
Barbara - The quilt is "Stratford Stars". It was a kit from Craftsy...on sale it was very reasonable. It really was very easy to do...the hardest part was deciding how to quilt it!
Kris - I have your adress (not), but this one is spoken for - LOL!
Thanks for the nice comments, everyone!
Not today yet, but I did manage to finish the quilting on the LUS yesterday and get it off of the frame. Tonight after the baby goes home, I will cut and press the binding and maybe get that started.
Thea Thank you for the chair info.
I finished the regular quilting on the big quilt. It has 9 Star blocks and I want to quilt some kind of design in them. To all that wanted to know how my Juki 2010 did, I was able to keep about a 4" pattern going half way through this quilt. Then I basted the rest and took it off the frame and turned it upside down reloaded it on the frame and finished the other half. This quilt is 108" long. Never would have been able to do it with My Sapphire.
At least you were able to get her done! Sounds like between you and the Juki it worked.
Yes I did, when I took it of the frame to fold it up I couldn't believe how heavy it is. today I will be trimming off the excess batting and backing and making the binding.
Can't wait to see those pics!
My garden windows wall hanging completed and hung.
Donna love your garden windows quilt
Donna, beautiful window quilt.
I haven't been in the sewing room for a few days but have finished 2 more POTC blocks done by hand. I take them with me and sew them as I wait in the school pick up line for my DGD. I can get quite a few basted in the 30 to 35 mininutes I have to wait.
Donna, it is wonderful!
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Diane , love your quilt!
🌺 You know you are a quilter when the only scraps under your table are fabric.🐾
