Kris:
I'll definitely try to work it. I haven't been to Branson yet.

You will love it there.  It would be great if you and Marie could both come.

ls2116 I purchased the quilt kit from Thimbles & Threads.  Its called Honey Bee designed by Jan Patek.  I was so upset ca touse not all the material was included and the directions are awful.  So I had to wing it.  I will pm you how I made it.

Somehow I have wound up with two accounts here and I can get on one account with my iPad and the other account with my pc. So if you notice a different avatar for me, it is still the same Elaine Phillips. Crazy, I know, but this all happened when the site was crazy and Im rolling with it.

I have not worked on a quilt today, I somehow slept the day away, but I am soon going to work on my Secrets and Shadows BOM here in a few minutes.

I did work on a quilt today. At 3:30 am I finished my Row by Row. The best part is, I call the LQS that is the first row of my quilt, and they said no-one had brought in a finished quilt yet, so I did. I won 25 fat quarters of my choice. They even said that would cut me any fabric I wanted. They were happy of where I placed their row.

Got my blocks finished today, and put up on design wall to work on placement. Sometimes the stitching and pressing gets tedious and I start wondering if I'm having fun....... haha.

I started a quilt today for my niece out of Summer 2014 easy quilts magazine. The one called "shake, rattle and roll". It look easy, but I couldn't believe how easy. Except for the being left handed. when I went to assemble the blocks I had cut all my half square triangles backwards. Didn't know it was that important. oh well, I am sure she will like it. I am working on the quilting now, but wont be able to get back to it till next monday at the earliest. I am going out of town for my sister's 50th b day. well here is a pic. and the back is little purple flowers. take care tami P. S. I have always wanted to do a black and white quilt. and I haven't had to go to the store for anything. Hopefully the fabric I want to use on the binding is enough. or I might have to make a run
