Gini I think your Iris should have won first place but I am a little prejudiced.

Della 2 is very cute she looks comfy. Your Labyrinth is looking very pretty.  I too want to make a Labyrinth I have the pattern. Maybe later this year.

Hi all,  I need your help,  my DH has indicated that he would like a couple or more wall hangings.  We live in Arizona, so something southwestern maybe.  Anyway if you have any pattern suggestions,  please, please let me know.

Thanks

Good morning, Donna

I order southwest patterns from the Kokopelli Quilting Company in Albuquerque, MN.  They have just about anything you can imagine and any technique from applique, piecing or paper-piecing.  Their web address is http://www.swdecoratives.com.

Hope this is helpful.

I agree your Labrynth is looking very pretty.  I made 2 of this pattern about 4 years ago when I was still teaching at the quilt shop.  The only problem I had with the ladies was them keeping straight which row they were on.  That is all you have to watch as you are doing it.  It is a beautiful quilt that looks like it was so difficult when you get done with it.

I also made this next one - it isn't the labrynth but the pattern is by that same author - both of these are at the shop in Ringwood

I madea  blue and brown labrynth but for the life of me can't find the picture - and now I can't take one as it adorns the bed at my son's house.  I think... so many things have gotten packed since we started to pack everything up - these are beautiful quilts though and very easy to make as there are no Y seams to these patterns.  When I worked at the shop I made all 3 of these quilts one weekend so that we had samples for the walls for the patterns as it is so much easier to sell the patterns... we had to kit these up to as people wanted the fabrics I had used for them.  I wish today I could sew for that long at a sitting... the cutting was easy as I just cut them right there instead of having to buy the material and go home...

You can kind of see the blue and brown one behind the pink one as we had hung the pink one over it so that we could get a picture.

Gini, if yours was third, what did first and second look like? I think you should have won first!

Thea, love the Labryinth pattern, yours are great.

Jen, your Labryinth is good looking, and your helper is too!

It's Quilting! You're supposed to be having fun!
