I'm unexpectedly working on a quilt today. Went to work this morning and immediately got a call that our dear neighbor had been taken to the hospital with a massive heart attack. We went up to be with her husband. By the time we left, I didn't want to go back to work.
So, I'm home and working on a wall hanging. Halloween of all things! I really like the way it's turning out and just have the borders to get on and then quilted. It was a free download into EQ7 from the website.
I've decided to make a hanging for each of the four seasons to hang outside our door.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Gini, I love the iris wall hanging that you did. It reminds me of the paper-pieced iris that I did for Mary's quilt. That reminds me, I never have heard if Mary ever got her quilt. I see that she is back in the hospital again.
I like your iris much better than mine though. Ginny
Gini, the Iris quilt is drop dead gorgeous!
Ginny, last. I heard Mary's quilt was being quilted.
Oh, Gini what a beautiful wall hanging !!! It turned out so well it almost looks real. Great Job ! Susan
I vote for you to win the challenge! This is gorgeous, Gini!
Gini I love the challenge quilt. WTG.
Gini - oh my love the colors love everything about the quilt.
Barbara - that has to be the nicest table runner I have ever seen.
Got another two rows quilted. Only four to go.
I did work on a quilt. I finished piecing a top and sandwiched it too. It is a small baby quilt for a coming grandchild. I don't know the gender so this is for a girl and I will make another for a boy so I will be prepared, LOL.
Oh thanks Roxana, I was afraid that I had missed a picture of the quilt. Ginny

Gini very pretty.
Gini, I love your iris. I made one last year. I like yours better.
I made this iris for my color and design class last year. It was a study in simultaneous contrast.
