I did baste a few hexies for my Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt that I am working on.  I have better than a fourth of the "flowers" constructed.   I usually work on it at night but have taken the last few days off....LOL.

Jen, in your photo, it caught my eye that you have what looks like a cutting mat lying on top of a thick piece of wood sitting on your tabletop. I'm curious about that. I have the same table, and have had some cutting inaccuracies at times, wasn't sure why. Is your setup related to cutting?

Agnes, I love your photos of the seagulls and roses.  I used to do that - take my camera wherever I went and snap off shots of whatever appealed to me.  I need to do that again.  It was a very fulfilling  creative exercise.  Thanks for reminding me.

Agnes:
I have a Canon Rebel EOS SL1.

I use a Rebel XTi. I have three lenses. I love this camera. I also use an Elph for everyday shooting.

What lens do you have that I don't have a comparable for? I have the 18-55 with macro and 75-300.

No quilting so far today but will be back to machine quilting Dashing Through the Snow shortly, in between looking after laundry.

SpringerMom...its because the table is not level...it bows slightly. ...so to get a good connection between my machine and extension table I use the board to level things out....

Wow everyone has been very busy I see.  I did manage to get two rows of quilting on the Helicopter Quilt done today.  Its very hard to do a full size quilt with my little Brother innov-950D.  Slowly but surely I will get there.

I worked on my Pineapple again, I have one sashing row to sew and attach then I can get the rows all sewn together. I may try to do some of that in a bit. I worked on the block for lesson #3 on the EQ Jump start, it looks like I won't be completing that one, for some reason my machine threw a fit and ruined the blocks I was sewing so as far as I'm concerned it shall be an incomplete for this one. I'm not doing the square over, at least at this point.

I finished the quilting today on my latest quilt and am now ready to add the binding - but alas.. I can't seem to find anything in my stash for the binding so that means I have to go shopping!

Oh yeah Carol W I believe for certain that you don't have any matching fabric to make binding from in your stash.   Shopping is a must.

Carol W... "but alas.. I can't seem to find anything in my stash for the binding so that means I have to go shopping!" So sorry that you have to drag yourself to the LQS! That is such a bummer!  LOL

10 - 22 It came free with the camera (Black Friday deal). I don't use it as much as the other two ( 70 - 300 and 18 - 55)
