Thea, pretty wallhanging. lucky SS.
Agnes, nice job on the rework, so cute.
Thanks for all the comments on the wall hanging. I'm glad I finally did the remake. I have one more that needs it.
I like seeing everyone's work though I may not comment on each piece individually I love seeing them all. They're such inspiration to keep me quilting.

Thank you all for the nice words - am working on the Halloween wall hanging/throw quilt - it is going slowly today... someone tell these storms to go somewhere else - we are expecting stormy weather all week... or fronts in and out...
Thea:am working on the Halloween wall hanging/throw quilt -
Thea, I also have a Halloween wall hanging on my planning table. I've printed the patterns and have most of the fabrics figured out.

This turned out really cute. I think I remember these kits in Connecting Threads. I too order regularly from Connecting Threads. So far I have never had a problem with shortages or missing parts. I really like them. Thanks for sharing.
This is really cute. I really admire you for taking the time to rip and redo - something I avoid as much as possible.
Thea and Agnes .. The quilts are wonderful!!
🌺 You know you are a quilter when the only scraps under your table are fabric.🐾
I love seeing everyone's work. I wish I could be so productive.
Thea:Here is my Welcome wall hanging - I bought 2 of these kits from connecting threads am making one for me and one for my SS recipient -
It's very pretty. Lucky SS recipient.
Agnes:I just finished the remake of a little wall hanging I originally finished really quickly with no quilting and just a pillow case closure. I pulled the two pieces apart, trimmed the edge a bit, layered it and quilted and bound it. Now I am happy with it, nearly 10 years later.
It's lovely Agnes.

Thea, I just finished a Halloween wall hanging for my DD. It made me think of you as I remembered you like anything Haloween. Susan
I finally started my DH quilt for his den. It is a wine theme room so I chose Vin Du Jour for fabric. He seems pleased with fabric, hope he is as pleasedwith finished quilt. Its going to be a queen size so Im thinking a Christmas present , maybe, if I can wait that long. Susan
I finally began assembling one of my McCall's quilt-along projects. I had hoped this would help cut down on my stash, but instead the stash just keeps growing! Of course, some of that growth is the result of the East Tennessee shop hop last month -- sew much fabric, sew little time -- but it IS lots of fun!!!
I finished the quilting on my Celtic Solstice from Bonnie Hunter. Now on to the binding!

Looks like everyone is making progress, unfortunately, not me. I have not sewn a stitch in several days. I'm sure hoping I will feel like sewing later today or tomorrow. I do have some fabric in the wash, so maybe that will inspire me to get to work.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
