Spudgrandma - I use a trick from my cross-stitch days....give the fabric a soak in cool water with vinegar added. The vinegar "sets" the color.
tnmtgrl:Chloe's quilt is DONE!!
And it's lovely. WTG! Chloe will love it.
Thea:Kris, your work is exquisite as usual - is your loyal union sampler going to be all halloween fabrics - if so - very interesting..
Thanks Thea. We crossed posts. Yes it is all halloween.
Deb, what is a topsy - turvy quilt?
Bonner Springs, Kansas
Love the blocks Kris.
Judy T-Bellingham:I bought 12 skeins and am fast running out.
Maybe I should order a few extra, just in case I make some changes to the designs and I believe I will. As far as the fabrics go I will be purchasing most, if not all fabrics, specifically for this project. I know that there will be changes to the piecing designs. I won't be worrying about fabrics until I have actually started embroidering.

Jen, you did a great job!! It's gorgeous!!
Phyllis, probably some would call it a crazy quilt, I just call it topsy - turvy for there is no set pattern for the blocks, they are all made however! Then when I get a stack of blocks . I will put in a thin sashing in between the blocks . Makes a colorful interesting quilt, the best part it uses up scraps and left over blocks. 😄
🌺 You know you are a quilter when the only scraps under your table are fabric.🐾
Donna, oh how cute!! Love it!
Jen, Chloe's quilt is so pretty.
Donna so cute, all kids (even old kids) love dino's.
Those blocks are looking like the makings of a great quilt, Deb. Ginny
Only one word describes it TNMTGRl," Beautiful" Ginny
Donna - that is so cute... I love the dinosaur!
