Ramona,  It is good to hear that your DH did go with you after all, and great news that your Mom is doing so well.  I am rather surprised that you are back home so soon given all of the things that had to be taken care of when you arrived.     Ginny

Ramona, glad your mom is in good hands, now you don't have to worry AS MUCH!

Kris, wish I were with you to see that quilt and to smell those smells!  Hope your headache is gone.  (((((HUGS)))))

Ramona, I'm glad that you are home safely and that your mom is happy. Kris, that DJ quilt is awesome. Hope you feel better soon.

Instead of quilting this weekend, I working on a dress for one granddaughter and a top for the other. I don't think I am quite ready to tackle knits yet though! As DH says, as long as you are having fun and that I was! Now let's see if the photos even post. Picture will be posted later.

Roxana,  those are 2 very, very cute little dresses. The girls are going to love them.  I know that I do, but they won't fit me.  Lol       Ginny

Hi everyone, I had to chuckle at the comments about the messy sewing areas and then cleaning them and just enjoying it for a moment.  I call my room The Room of Doom.  First of all it is a multi purpose room, it has a bed when the DGK's come and also a freezer and storage cabinet for food and a area for my DGS games the closet is full of stuff like rugs, table cloths you name it.  I go look at it and get overwhelmed.  I do have it organized in the fact there are cubby hole shelves and I have different color fabric boxes with that color fabric in it.  And big plastic containers with different projects stored.  But the bed is covered with other projects to be finished and just don't have a place to put them. :)  I need a organizer to fix it. ha

I haven't been up to anything this week.  We went to a funeral in W.Va. last week it was a long trip but happy we went for our best friends.  I have been sick since Fri.  the room was flying 100 miles a hr. round and round.  Finally I went to the doctor yesterday have a sinus/allergy infection and fluid on ear.  On meds now.  Haven't been able to do anything except sleep.  I bounce off the walls when I move around.  Been so upset here I've had lots of down time and can't sew.  I have a quilt in the works for my DGD I have 2 of the borders pinned on and the other 2 cut but afraid to get on the steps to go downstaris.  I want to get those borders on so I can layer it and start working on it for Christmas.  I also have a wall hanging for Sept. in the works need to finish that.  Oh well next week maybe.

Get better fast, Joyce.  It is a bummer to be sick when you have time off.   I know what you mean by the room spinning on you.  Have had my share of ear and sinus infections also.  Ginny
