Terry - I am not sure what you do when they don't match like that - guess the best you can do is make a new different quilt all your own... or end up buying some of what you need... a trip to the quilt fabric shop?

I thank all for the prayers lately - still very much under the weather... why can't OK just have a normal summer this year and be hot hot hot... why are we having all these storms rolling in over and over... I have not been able to move much and keep hoping that it will change.  The weather man forecasted another week of storms coming up - just 2 days next week is it supposed to be dry.  Yesterday, I did not want to get out of my chair at all but we are having to break in another new person to take care and assist my Mom... all the games my Mom likes to play have started again.  I am truly tired of going through this but what is a person supposed to do.  As long as I keep her in my home this is the problem.  It is frustrating especially when it hurts level 20 to get up and move and you have to do it for silly stuff... DH tries to prevent it but he gets frustrated too... I think her dementia is getting worse or it is a new game she has devised...but I have to stay calm and just go with the flow - at least the people down at adult protective services know all about her - but I really don't want to have that all started again.  I just keep praying that she will change - be nicer to people - I am not sure at this point that that will ever happen...

Thanks everyone for thoughts and prayers.  At times of such pain like this I'm so thankful to at least be able to share my thoughts with other people.  Were sure going through a rough patch right now.  Not sure when the sun will shine in my heart again.  They say time heals all wounds.  I don't know this time.  This refers to an incident at my house.  I know i'm being vague but some things are just too embarrasing to talk about.

Karla, so beautiful, great job on the finish. I know you are happy to be almost done. Thanks for hanging in there and leading the group. I'm still following but very slowly.

Karla - your quilt is stunning and I can't believe you are done with it already - it may have been a lot of work but you did and do wonderfully fantastic work all the time... thank you so much for sharing with us... I got Dog park basted today so hope to start quilting on it soon... I had double taken my pain meds this morning as the pain is starting back up in my arm - it has been coming and going all day - I am hoping and praying that the disc is not rupturing as I really am not ready for that...I have enjoyed being without that pain for a while now that life was back to just my normal RA pain - need it to go back away so hoping tomorrow when I wake up that it is gone... we have a horrendous thunder bumper starting over us so I am going to get this posted and get off the computer...

Is2116,

Your heart will feel good again, find the small pleasures right now. It might be a child eating an icecream cone with icecream all over everything... Keep it small right now, but the joy will return.
