Hi! My name is Lois. I'm an old quilter who loves anything having to do with sewing, crocheting, beading, and embroidery (both hand and machine). I'm hoping to learn new skills and techniques in my creative endeavors. I enjoy my life in a very rural community and have five grandchildren with one more due in November, one little dog and three miniature horses.
Hello Lois, welcome to QCA. You'll find all kinds of inspiration and help here. I've only been sewing and quilting for two years; I've made friends and gotten a lot of help from everyone here. Miniature horses..how cool! I live in a rural area in southern Ohio, but only have dogs, cats and birds. One 5 yr old grand daughter, that means everything to me. Looking forward to getting to know you!

Welcome Lois, jump right in !
Lois, glad to see you here! You sound like a busy lady! I look forward to learning from you!
Welcome Lois!! I live in a rural community in the mountains in southern California. I too crochet, but beading is not me and knitting frustrates me. I am currently working on a hand embroidered block that will be the center of a quilted wall hanging. Shout out if you need anything, and check out the swaps group!
Welcome Lois. I'm like you. I love all the needle arts. Can't get enough of them. My oldest daughter just moved to Woodbridge, VA. She is expecting her second child (boy) this August. My first grandbaby (girl) was born last July. They will be only 13 months apart.
Hi Lois, Welcome!
My Sunshine doesn't come from the skies, It comes from the love in my dog's eyes.
