If you're new to EQ or would like some practice join us in the EQ Group for the sew along that starts tomorrow.

A few of us will be joining in and we'd love some company.

Hi, I'm new to EQ. I was given EQ 7 as a Christmas gift..... I did the first few on-line lessons but became 'stuck'. How and where do I join this EQ sew-along group. (I take it, it is on-line?).

I live on the west coast, Southern California.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info, Kris. I'm going to try to remember this is available. I've had EQ7 for awhile but hardly use it. Some good lessons will help for sure.

Click the red words in my post you'll be taken to the EQ group. You will need to join the group to take part in the discussion. The details of the sew along are on the Electric quilt blog.

Kris, EQ7 is available for the Apple now, if I purchase it would this group be compatible?

Thanks Kris, I'll look into what the cost would be and if it's affordable at this time I'll join the group.

I got my EQ7 for Mac (not the conversion) for under $200 including tax.  Am totally enjoying playing.  Haven't printed anything to paper or made a quilt yet from it, but I am very pleased.

Marie, If you are an AQS member you can go to their site and buy it and get a 20% discount on it. At least the last time I checked you could.   I was thinking of asking for this for Mothers' Day.  Good luck with your search.
