I've looked online for various star patterns, compass, sunbursts, pinwheels, but couldn't find this match.  It's from a commercially produced quilt bought in a department store over 10 years ago.  There's no label on it.  I really love the design and want to know if I can recreate it.

Thanks very much.

It looks wonderful to me.  Not sloppy at all.  Way to go.

oomoom, this is a wonderful quilt and I think you did a great job recreating in Word.

I think I would tackle it as four quadrants and then join into the larger block.

I would paper piece this because I am not a fan of hand stitching or Y seams.

Good luck.

Hope to see pictures once you do this.

Ladies, I just found out that Bonnie Rosenbaum is still in Albuquerque and teaches at Ann Silva's Bernina Sewing Center. I'll see what further info I can get and let you know if she is still creating quilt patterns.

  in Albuquerque

It's Quilting! You're supposed to be having fun!
