I just got this from Martingale:

A quilt drive for Oso has been set up by local quilter Jean Kester, a retired police/fire telecommunications operator who blogs at Layers of Hope/Quilting 911. (http://layersofhopequilting911.blogspot.com/)

She recommends sending new or like-new quilts (washed but not worn) in the following sizes by April 19:

Baby quilts: about 42″ x 42″
Toddler quilts: about 50″ x 50″
Twin-size quilts: between 55″ x 75″ and 69″ x 90″

You can send your quilt donations directly to Jean at:

Jean Kester
18740 Ivan Street SW
Rochester, WA 98579

If you are a quilter in western Washington, Jean has facilitated drop-off locations in Burien, Mt. Vernon, Chehalis, and Centralia.
