I cant decide if I should put Batting between 2 types of minky, help??

I just finished my blanket top (pieced minky squares and fleece) the backing is a type of furry material, should I put batting between them. I am not sure what to do.

it really depends on what you want. if you want a heavier quilt, put batting in.  if you want a lighter quilt leave it out. it will be pretty heavy and warm without batting, but more floppy.

I you want it stiff but not heavy, you could try a heavt weight sew in interfacing.
