MNnancy:
Agnes, Mary T got the bird patterns at a garage sale.

Is there any designer name or anything like that which might perhaps put me in the right direction. Or are they vintage?

Woohoo. Great picture! And I have been working on my quilt here at home. Almost all pieced! Love seeing all the pictures. And comments from your posse, lol. Thanks so much!

Here's my big finish.  It may be small but it's pieced , appliqued (fusible),hand stitched,  quilted , bound and hung on a hanger that I bought at Ackfeld Wire on Tuesday!

Danny has been taking care of our cleaning/maintenance needs, so Nana shared our appreciation of him.  (Eat your heart out, Marie!)

So cute. WTG Nana.

Well, I've been MIA for a few days, having a ball in the sunshine state, read through the posts and discovered more awesome work being done by my DQF! Great projects girls! I also noted that I have a sister cougar out there BUT alas there are two to share, send me one Nana, pweeze, pweety pweeze, I'll be your best friend! : ) Loved the winning captions, congrats girls! Debbie-do, I have to say, I love your bird quilt and would love more info about it. I would love to make a cardinal, one for each of my children, cardinals have a special meaning to us.

Didn't realize this was your last full day until just now when I read that!  I had planned to come and visit you all today - my DH had an appt at the VA in Branson  But had to cancel because of the weather, looks like the road will be bad up that way, and then more of it coming here too.  When are you all leaving?  Be careful, safe travels to you all as you make your way back to your homes,  Looks like we all enjoyed the retreat, even if it had to be from afar!  Thanks to the great reporters and picture takers!

We've heard that Leslie made it safely home.   Debbie-do, Michelle, and Rhonda from Texas left this morning.  Elaine and her sister Mary left for Kansas soon after.  The rest of us are leaving Saturday a.m.  Prayers, please, for safe travel for all.  We're all hoping to skate around the forecasted midwest storm.
