The gang is hard at work on our first day in Branson. Brigit-Carol, this is her first retreat with QCA, she is absorbing all the ladies. Such a lady herself, working hard and already has her top completed. pics to come...
Sharon is also a new quilt retreater! Friend of Maggie AKA grandma sunshine, having a great time. She is also hard at work on her quilt. Sharon does amazing hand piecing. Watch for her latest pics on that in the next sequel.
Barbara, it is so good to see you on the forums again. I've missed you. I hope you are taking care of yourself and listening to your doctors. My prayers and thoughts are always with you.
It looks like you are all having so much fun in Branson. Hope to see lots of pictures.
Georgetown CA I'd Rather Be Quilting
Wonderful mini blocks, WTG,
Nana great quilts.
lots of love
Woo Hoo! Nana takes the first. And Beth is a close second! Great night ladies!
As reported earlier, Terri and I stopped to chat with Barbara at her home in Liberty, MO. Here she is in front of her house with her dog Angel. It felt so good to give Barbara a big hug! She looks and sounds marvelous. She has given up smoking and lost weight - quite an accomplishment. Therapy is going well, and her biggest frustration is that the eye-hand coordination needed for sewing has just not returned yet. Recovery takes time.
We sure miss you in Branson, Barbara! Wishing you a good spring with continued improvements.
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
Gini - wow, I missed the minis, cute!
Barbara- sad you are not here, was hoping to meet in person. You are missed greatly.
These ladies are so warm and generous, it was very heart warming when everyone would say Debbie Dear when we met. Still trying to get all the names and faces together but it has been a blast being here so far.
"I'm just a poor soul who's intentions are good. Oh, Lord, Please don't let me be misunderstood."
Nana and Beth your quilts are gorgeous. Exciting to see pictures of those I haven't met.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Barbara, So good to see you looking so well. Congrats on the no smoking and weight loss.
You are right Debbie do about all of the food groups. They say the more color you have on your plate the better it is for you. Ginny
Brigit-Carol and Sharon, so nice to see you.
Barbara, I am so sorry that you couldn't make it to Branson this year. I almost really stretched my budget to try to come, but couldn't make it either. It is so good to see you posting. Ginny
Oh my. Gini's minis are great. I sure won't try to emulate her on this one though. My preemie GGS isn't that small. LOL Ginny
Oh Barbara, it's so nice to see you again. I wish we were all at Branson with these girls again!
Lookin' Good, Barbara!
Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.
