Hi!  I' ve been quilting for a long time and I find it very relaxing. I've been at it alot more since I had to stop nursing because of Muscular Distrophy.  I know there are many more of you out there just like me. Life changes and we change with it. Let me know. Sandy

Welcome Sandy,  there are several nurses on here, and many who have disabilities, some home bound who use this site and quilting for therapy.

It is really a nice group of people.  Not as many posting these days as it is hard to get in.  QCA is having technical difficulties but they keep promising that things will get better soon.   It is currently the worse it's ever been.   Some of us are also using quiltingaroundtheworld.com and are able to keep in touch better that way.

Welcome Sandy.  I started quilting a few years back.  I took it up because I decided to retire and knew I would need to do something creative.  I have knitted for more years than I want o admit, but know I needed to add to my hobbies.  I am loving learning how to do blocks I never thought I would and this great is wonderful at helping you out.  Have fun with this group.

Welcome, Sandy ! When the site runs smoothly its the best one around. the people are wonderful, knowledeable and willing to answer any question you may have. There are lots of nurses on here that you will have more in common than just quilting. Hope to see you on again and enjoy your quilting.   Susan, North, Florida

Hi, Sandy. Glad you are here with us. And so happy quilting helps you. There are good helpful quilters here. It is easy to get hooked. And, a great place to share your morning cup of coffee and chat about your day. Hopefully, I will be here. I have only been able to post again the past week.

Hi Sandy I;m not a nurse but have done years of care giving for my MIL and then my mom years later.  Both had alzhemizers.  Welcome hopefully we will all be able to get on QCA easier and more often.  I really enjoy quilting.
