All QCA-ers are invited to a retreat in at the Stage Stop Inn in Choteau, Montana, Sept. 15-19, 2014. CC is our wagonmaster. She said the hotel room rate is between $65 - $75 a night plus tax, so final cost will depend on how many share a room. The cost of the large sewing room will be $500 for 5 days divided by however many quilters we have - hoping for at least 10 quilters so no more than an additional $50 for each of us - maybe less. There's a small caterer's prep kitchen in this conference area and microwaves/mini fridge in each of the rooms for meal preps, plus several restaurants in the area. They have a pool and hot tub, etc.
Choteau is 80 miles south of Glacier Nat'l Park, along the Rocky Mountain Front. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and fishing in the area for bored husbands. There's a campground nearby if you'd like to come by RV.If you opt to fly in, you'd fly to Great Falls, which is 75 miles away. The train comes into Shelby which is also about 75 miles (in the opposite direction). We can arrange rides for anyone traveling in to those locations. There are 2 quilt shops in Shelby and 5 or 6 in Great Falls.
If you think you might be interested in attending, join us in the groups section and leave your name as a 'maybe.'

On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
I would be coming by Missoula so if that were a better place for anyone to fly into we could probably work that out too.
