Hi ! I'm a newly retired grandmother. Been around quilting all my life because of a mother that slept ate and breathed quilting! I helped her when I could but now @ 65 feel the desire to keep quilting in the family. Hope some of the younger ones in the family catch the fever!

Welcome, Sue.  Congrats on your retirement.  I recently retired myself and love all the time I can now spend in my sewing room.

Welcome, Sue, and congratulations on your retirement! I'm sure some of the younger family members will take an interest in quilting, too, when they see your work. My younger daughter took up quilting just a couple years ago when I gave her one of my sewing machines. And my 5 year old granddaughter will hopefully follow along. Right now she really likes to just cut pieces of fabric and arrange them into different patterns.

Hi Sue.  I hope my daughter will one day take up quilting.  If I don't live a very long life, she will have a lot of fabric to inherit.
