Hi ladies and gentlemen,

Not really new to quilting have many in the works at any given time but I am new to the QCA community. I am currently trying to finish a lap quilt for my 3 yo son and have to sandwich my first queen top, i am also trying paper piecing for the first time in the form of a table runner. I also have a 4 yo daughter and a wonderful husband but not much time in my mom's sewing room, that's where i quilt is in her house, its so much quieter when the kids aren't around that is LOL

Welcome Christina.  This is a great site when it is up and working.  Hopefully, they'll get all of the glitches fixed soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

I understand about trying to quilt with children around.  I have 5 grandchildren who spend a lot of time at my house and it is almost impossible to get anything done when any of then are around, well the newborn isn't much of a problem, but the 16 month old can wreak havoc on the sewing room.

Please post some pictures of your quilts when you get a chance.  We love to look at and admire other quilter's work.

Hi Christina. Nice to see another Pacific Northwest quilter on board. You're not far from Poulsbo. Do you ever go to Sew Expo?

Dumb me, I meant Puyallup, Puyallup. Not Poulsbo.
