Darn, my first post just froze up, and now I see 5 minutes later that it finally posted, after, of course, I had posted another one.

Angele and Never,  Your blocks arrived today.  Beautiful additions to the rest of them.  This is going to be a great quilt and especially made with love.

I am new to the forum, but would love be a part of this quilt for Mary. Is March 1 still the deadline? I can actually have my block out long before that (in fact by the weekend). Just let me know, and bless you Diana for heading this up. You are an angel on earth!

How many blocks do you have now?

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

CC,   I counted 20 blocks have been received.  If any more come in, a pillow will be made to go with it.  It's going to be a nice size quilt.

Diana I'm so happy the block arrived. Now to see all those blocks side by side ready to hug Mary in a warm comforting hug.

I thought I read that we could bring blocks to the Branson retreat. The quote above implies you don't need anymore for the quilt. I'm confused.

Roxanne,  I will still accept blocks.  As I said, I will make a beautiful pillow sham to go with the quilt.  Or if more show up, I will just make the quilt bigger or add them to the backing.  I just want this to show her how many people care about her and want her well.  I hope that makes sense.

I used 42 12' blocks for Marge's quilt and it turned out pretty good-sized, but that's exactly how many blocks I received.  I decided the size based upon the number of blocks I received.  If I would have had an odd number that didn't work out into rows, I would have made a pillow or put them on the back as you plan on doing.
