I need to let you all in on a great cleaner. I got out my grandmother's meat thermometer and I'm not sure how long ago it had been cleaned. It had baked on grease on the face and around the edge. I cleaned it in seconds by putting it in a bowl with water and hydrogen peroxide and in less than a minute, wiped it clean. WOW. Worked great.

Great tip, Diana! Happy Thanksgiving!
I've got to try that! What i the ratio of water to peroxide? I wonder if it would work on the oven door to my range.
Thank for the tip.

Pat, I did a 3 to 1 ratio. 1 peroxide and 3 water. It's also used to clean and disinfect as well. I use it on my counters. If it's a really thick or tough grease, use equal parts. It really works great.
Thanks for the tip, i use it in the laundry to spot clean, this is another use.
Thank Diana. I'm going to try that on my range today!
