Hi Diane,

Welcome to the group.  Can't say much more than the others have already.  I'm some north of you in Livingston.  Were you able to get to the GRB for the quilt show?

Unfortunately, no GRB yet - but I did go to one in North California in 2006 which really started my engine!  I was blown away.  I hope to go to a Texas one soon.

Senior moment here...GRB? What does that stand for?

Welcome, Diane.  I'm also a Texan, living in Belton which is on the I35 corridor between Waco & Austin.

Welcome from an El Paso neighbor.  I'm in Las Cruces NM, but we get our news from El Paso, so very very close to Texas (at least the far west tip any way).

I think I will always be a newbie; always learning new things any way.  Here's the place to ask your questions.
