I am hoping someone here has done that. I have only used the fabric that you can print on and then sewed that into the quilt. 

Can you embroidery the names of the shops on there?

Once you get this done, I think you really should consider getting this patient and make a board game..not just the quilt.  You really might want to not post as much and PM everyone your talking with so no one who is looking on here can steal your idea. 

I have a degree in marketing, and I promise you this would sell.

thats a nice thought but not for me, this is just for fun im hoping when i have it finished to send it to the girls on the retreats so they have something different to play, and lots of people have put ideas into this its not just me.

Frances, I have an cousin that irons regular material onto regular print paper then uses her laptop to print out her labels. I haven't tried it yet, but would sure be less expensive than the paper that you buy. Maybe try one.

Oh, I understand...but think about it. If you patent the game, then you can sell the game to Hasbro and  make a ton more quilt's....reap the benefits of your creativity.
