Oh, we got sidetracked.  You truly wanted suggestions.  Okay, here are mine...

Your seams don't match - go back 2.  You ran out of fabric - return to GO.  Your quilt won a ribbon at the county fair - collect 3 fat quarters.  Blue fabric bled in the wash - pay 1 fat quarter.  Someone bought your quilt on Etsy - advance 6.  Your quilt won the viewer's choice award - collect 1 fat quarter from each player.  All the fabric for your latest quilt came from your stash - move ahead 3.  You overslept after sewing until 3 a.m. - lose one turn.  Your favorite quilt shop is having a sale - move ahead 3 spaces.  You gave your sick friend a snuggly quilt - collect 4 fat quarters.  You forgot to change your needle - go back 2.  You let a friend take some fabric from your stash - jump ahead to the Quilt Shop.

Hey, I don't know if you are still looking, but I have seen Monopoly fabric on E-bay. I buy a lot of fabric from E-bay sellers and haven't been let down yet!

Credit card maxed out--lose one turn.

Forgot to have sewing machine serviced--pay 1 FQ.

Out of thread--go back 3 spaces.

Found perfect color in your stash and enough yardage--advance 10 spaces.

Will players have an opportunity to buy LQS as property?   Maybe a Sewing Machine Repair Shop?

Maybe players will buy fabric lines instead of properties - Kaffe Fassett, Thimbleberries, Free Spirit, etc.  Instead of houses and hotels, you can buy kits utilizing those fabrics - $50 for a lap quilt, $100 for a queen, $150 for a king.  To earn money, instead of renting a house or hotel, you would sell your quilts - $100 lap, $250 queen, $500 for a Nana-tent.

I like Max's idea of the sewing machine repair shop instead of jail.  Instead of the four utilities, you could have fabric shops.  Each of those would cost you money when you land on them except if you bought the fabric shop.

I can't wait until we get around to designing the playing pieces.  I vote that we keep the little iron from the original game.

How is your version coming, Francis?
