Glad to hear things are better.  Handwork is fun too.  I have to unknit about two rows of a wrap I'm making later tonight. Only about 270 stitches per row....ouch.  I don't like frogging or unknitting.  LOL

Kris I was feeling a little left behind until I saw the snow. I am right where I belong. No snow for this Floridian! LOL, try to stay warm.

Hi all. We've made it to the beach. We took a side trip to "The Stitchin' Post" in Sister's OR.

That photo in the s**w was taken on Mt Hood at the Timberline Lodge. No s**w down here.

Gini, Nana, Kris, Jacy and Diana. A kind gentleman from Frankfurt, Germany volunteered to be our photographer.

From the look of that diner they weren't terribly busy, and the folks sitting in the booths in the background appear to be actually dining, so one would presume they were waited upon... Maybe they served themselves??

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

The gang's all here. First we presented Marge P with the quilt made from blocks we all sent to Karla. She is very pleased:

Darlene. Do you see Deb behind her? She already three sheets quilts  to the wind. LOL:

Deb (not sewing):

Judy T:

Debbie and Donna B (in the back thinking she'll escape the camera by hiding in the corner):

No they weren't busy. They seated us then ignored us. Two groups came after we did and got served. Gini told one of the waitresses that we hadn't been helped and she said, "Not my table" and kept going. Their loss. We had a great dinner (and breakfast) at a different place.

beautiful quilt. you guys look like you had way to much fun when you left me behind in Portland. I am back home now. sure hated saying good bye to my boy, but I will get some quilting done before I head to Spokane. So I will be virtual retreating with you. And I will probably get more quilting done ha ha

Loved seeing pictures of you all.

It looks like there is plenty of space for people to set up and work on their projects.  I was noticing the chairs look pretty good too.

Trivia time:

we were given treat bags that included a tape measure. Which quilter said, "Oh good I was wondering what my bust size was."

Does someone look like she's about to fall off the edge from exhaustion?
