I'm new to this club and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Deena from Clinton Township, Michigan. My cousin's and aunts have been quilting for years. They got me started. They can whip out a quilt in a week. (One day I will be able)
I love to quilt and love learning new things! I really want to learn more on Free Motion Quilting! I currently just do the simple straight lines following the material patterns. Any advice will be so appreciated!

Thank you, you bet I will!!! So glad I have "experts" to talk to now.
Free motion quilting is lots of fun. There are a lot of resources for learning - videos, books, tutorials. Most important is practice, practice and more practice
Welcome, Deena ! You have come to the right place as all the folks here are so helpful and knowledgeable. What have you made so far and what do you like best about piecing quilts? Looking forward to chatting with you and seeing some of your projects. Susan, North, Florida

Welcome Deena! You will love it here!
I've been quilting for a two years, but my skill level is not where I'd like it to be or my confidence. I have made table runners and placements and several quilts but the patterns were simple and I machine quilted by going around the blocks. I see some of these beautiful and intricate patterns and I want to make them. I look forward to chatting as well!
Hi Deena, welcome, glad to have you join us, enjoy!
