Congratulations! I can not wait to see your creation! Good luck to you! Very exciting!
Jenia, I'd like to add my congratulations! How exciting!!! Best of luck...
Congratulations Jenia, that's wonderful that your quilt was chosen. You've done the hard part, now just relax and enjoy whatever comes of it. It was an honor just to be chosen, so winner or not, enjoy the journey.
Well, I think I can post pictures now that the finalists are notified. Here's the fabric we had to use 80% for the top
And here's what I came up with using stack-and-whack kaleidoscopes and their other fabric 100% on the back
I know my sewing/quilting probably can't compare with the professionals I will be judged against. But essay and design were points in the judging with execution being just 1/3 so hopefully they might overlook where a set of points isn't exactly straight, right? haha, yeah I know better, but I am just honored to be in the hunt any way.
Yes, I too am looking forward to the critique and comments as well.
Wow! Awesome! Congrats Jenia! Looks fabulous!

Jenia, I love what you did with the fabric you had to use. Great job! It's a winner!
That is great Jenia, what a proud moment. We will be cheering you on and waiting for the photo. Don't want you to do anything that would mess up the rules so we can wait. Congratulations.
