Very nice room, Frances!  How nice that you have space for a quilt frame, too :)

Sherri,

I have to have a quilt frame as there is no space to spread a quilt on the floor and baste it.

lots of love

That's a great excuse for having a quilt frame! ROFLOL

Great sewing room Frances. I love the cabinet behind your quilt frame. That's a great idea to baste. I've been wondering how I will baste my king size quilt when I finish it. I know you'll enjoy your new sewing room. Congratulations.

Very impressive Frances!  I love all of the storage space you have, not to mention that fireplace. Congrats on the quilting frame. I love hand quilting but will have to be satisfied with my large hoop.

Love that big bright window.  Forgive my ignorance... Do you use the frame to stretch and baste your quilt and then take it to your DSM for FMQ, or do you hand quilt using the frame?

Nancy,

The plan is to do both hand quilt hopefully most, but then i can always baste on the frame and then machine quilt.

lots of love
