Okay just for fun, how would you like to enter your favourite quilted item youve made into a virtual quilt show.

There is a Mystery prize (and no its not a trip to England to visit me)

So all you have to do is take a picture of your best item youve made, dont worry if its just a top and not quilted there are no quilt police here,  there are no individual catergories (so no tent catergory for Nana) all entries to be in by 14th September and then everyone has a chance to PM me for there favourite choice and i will announce the winners and send out the Mystery prize that no amount of money could buy (well i lied about that money could buy it).

Okay its just a bit of fun, so please join in.

lots of love

Francesxx

NOW ITS TIME TO VOTE PLEASE PM ME OR FACEBOOK PM ME AND TELL ME WHICH QUILT AND THE PERSONS NAME, ALL VOTES ARE IMPORTANT SO PLEASE VOTE. VOTING CLOSES 22 SEPTEMBER.

Good idea Frances. I like your cot quilt. I'll enter the quilt I made for DH's grandparents as an anniversary present in 2009. She passed away last month. This entry is in her memory. This photo is the top:

Here's when I gave it to them:

This is one of my favorites.  I love Mariner's Compass blocks and this project was one I really enjoyed.   Not the greatest pic but it was the best pic I could get.  It isn't quite a tent but close....LOL>

What a fun idea, Frances!  Here is mine.  I found the wolf fabric and wanted to do something really cool with it.  I didn't have a pattern, just an idea in my head.  A dear friend of mine helped me with the layout and the quilting.  But the piecing was all me.  I got to enjoy it myself for 6 months before my baby brother got it as a wedding gift.

Wow, I love seeing these quilts. I'll join the fun. I designed and made this for hubby.  Mark Twain is his favorite historical person. He quotes him all the time. So I free motion wrote some sayings around the inner border of the quilt.
