Procrastinated long enough, that's it I'm signing up as a official member. I've sewn for many years (since I was 9). I got hooked on quilting over 20 yrs ago, retired now so lots of time to quilt. I'm hoping that this is another avenue for inspiration to keep me busy through the long winter months we have up here. Yes, we have had our first frost warning already but I really hope the weather man was mistaken and that we have nice weather until December and then it starts to warm up again. I look forward to being part of this Quilters Club.
Welcome Lynn, you'll like it here. It's a great group of quilters, always helpful, encouraging and very, very friendly. We have several different groups, just click on groups and find one or two that pique your interest. We are always doing fun projects together.
Welcome,Lynn, from a fellow Canadian quilter. Your sewing history sounds very similar to mine.
Agnes in NW Ontario
Welcome Lynn. Being from northwestern Ontario, I know about cold and long winter days. Yet I have a hard time believing its coming as its 31 today and feels like 37... Hot and sticky. I hope you will enjoy iT here as much as I do. I have learned so much through the groups and the UFO group pushes me to finish, while I love doing the mystery quilts. They challenge me to go outside my comfort zone. I am looking forward to see some of your quilts here.
Angèle from NWO
I am from Ontario and have been a member for a few years .I have met the nicest people here and learned a lot along the way.Shh don't want to hear the c**d word or s**w.Typical of us Canadians we live in seasonal weather and complain as the weather changes.
Welcome to the site. I hope you enjoy your time with us.
Hi Lynn, welcome to the group. Where in Alberta are you located? We have lots of summer neighbors that come down from calgary

Hi Lynn, welcome, so glad you joined us, you'll enjoy it here, nice people, and we quilt sometimes! : )
Thank you all for the warm welcome. I live in a suburb just outside of the city limits of Calgary and yes we usually visit WA, MT and ID at least once a year. I love all the quilt shops along the way and of course the beautiful scenery. Looking forward to getting to know people in this group and learn a thing or two at the same time.
Welcome Lynn! Enjoy the site!!!
