cutting 45 degree?

I feel stupid asking this one, but I've been planning the 5 yr old girls quilt on eq7 for meadow flower.  printed out cutting diagram ok for "a & c" parts of block but the main part "b" it said 45 degree angle what ruler do i need for that the shape looks like a unequal hexagon?

Most of our rulers have a mark for 45 degree angles.   Place the 45 degree line on the straight edge of your fabric and then cut along the edge of the ruler.  The piece will then have a 45 degree angle on its edge.

Thanks Nana!  I do feel stupid now I just looked on my shape cut and it is marked.  Sometimes I'm just too far sighted and can't see whats on my kitchen table.
