Debbie:

went to bed but had cramps in my toes again so got up and looked and IT"S HERE!!!

wow, lots of 3/12" and 3 7/8" squares.  we'll be cutting forever, Nana!

Debbie, where the heck did you find it. I have looked all over for it. and cannot find the directions. I think my computer is messing up. Or it is user error since I may be looking in the wrong place. Thanks.

Lots of squares!  I think I will just have to buy the 3-1/2 inch square die for my new toy that DH bought me.  :)

Printed the 1st step but won't be getting to them til Monday when my dog sitting stint is over.  DD and DSIL went to Hampton Beach for the weekend so I'm staying at their house with Teddy.

Here come the questions Nana.  Would it be alright to make the 7/8" measurements to the next inch and then trim, or would that throw the block off?

Julienne, go to the mystery quilt 9, tranquility group.  There will be a place to click for instructions, and click on the top heading to get to the instructions for this MQ.  (other MQ instructions are also listed.)

Marie

I will answer your question here this time but please go to the group for future questions.   Yes you can round up to the inch and then trim when you have the HSTs completed.

I see the Cut 21 strips @ 3-7/8" line on the instructions.  Are we cutting those from both the Background and Fabric #1? 210 squares of each?

Hey Ladies,

I think Nana wants us to use this thread for questions:  http://www.quiltersclubofamerica.com/groups/mystery_quilt_9tranquility/forum/t/43437.aspx

I have fabrics off the shelves, on the table, bed, and draped over the sewing machine, and piles that have fallen to the floor.  Nana, it's all your fault.

I have decided to opt out of this one.   I was only going to give myself permission if I could find the fabrics in my stash.  I didn't, so I will take this as a sign that I should work on my multiple current projects and UFOs or PhDs.  (projects half done.)  One thing about  searching for fabric is I uncover all those other projects.

I will cheer all of you on, and looks like I will learn a trick or two in the process.

Nana, I can always trust you to come up with great MQs.

Patti, I am going to be sitting on the bench with you. I looked through my stash and don't have what I want for this quilt and can't justify the $$ for shopping. My roof is leaking and I am about to get a whole new roof so there will be no extra cash for a while.  I haven't done the last couple of mysteries and was looking forward to another one. It isn't like I have nothing else to do, roflol, but for some reason it seems like more fun to start something new than finish what I already started. Oh well, I survived missing out on the last couple and I have a couple of mystery quilts in my UFO pile so I could still do a mystery quilt, LOL.

Nana,

I am new to this MQ thing but I will sit in for them and ask lots of questions.  I look forward to reading posts.  I was up until 100am reading post.

Quilt, have fun, spend less time worrying if it is perfect.
