I know Jacy and I will work four out of those. And I have to finish quilting my quilt. And paint stairs....and get veggies out of the garden...and...and... So I do have stuff to do, it's just my very inquisitive (curious) nature...lol

Thank you for the info Nana
I did see on the thread that there are three fabrics required. I hope I chose ones that I have enough yardage for the MQ, if not I'll just have to BUY more....lol
I recommend not increasing to 4 fabrics. 3 is more than sufficient to get the design needed in this pattern....LOL
I think she was talking about having to work 4 days, not using 4 fabrics, LOL. You never did take that long nap, did you, Nana?
I guess I'll just wait until next week to decide on fabric...I've got so many other things going that I sure don't need to be in a rush for the requirements.
I have two sets of fabric I want to use. Just waiting for instructions to know which to pick. I can't believe I am doing this.
Nap????? what is a nap?
Nap????? what is a nap?
Wow another MQ! I am behind on all of them but will try and join in on this. Nothing like a new project to get the quilting vibes going! I need to get back to some quilting and this would be a good place to start.
Marge P:I need to get back to some quilting and this would be a good place to start.
Does this mean you are back home?
Not yet Macy, but very soon. Will post on the original thread in a few minutes.:-)
Jacy, not Macy! I corrected it three times but it still posted wrong. This tablet and I have a love-hate relationship.
Only three fabrics? Wonderful! That means I can shop my stash with no problem. I have a ton of blenders in several different patterns that I need to start using up. I purchased them for backers, but they are so pretty, I hate to put them on the back. I also have a half ton of batiks so if this will call for a pattern, perhaps I can combine batiks and blenders. This is going to be so much fun!
I purchased the strip tube ruler from my LQS when it closed down -- think I paid all of $5.00 for it. I use Jenny's method of using a regular square ruler when I make string quilts -- really a nice fast way to cut the squares. So... NANA? Would you consider providing the dimensions to cut the fabric for the HSTs for those of us using the strip tube ruler? Or at least a warning that those of us using it will need to cut differently?
Recently, I have lost focus to complete anything on my own. I have never worked on mystery quilt so I'm hoping it will spark my interest and get me back on track. I'm already looking forward to the first installment. After all, Christmas is coming and I need to get back to my sewing room.
This is my first MQ, I am looking forward to the challenge. I hope I can finish it along with my other fellow quilters. Looking forward to Sept 6. Nissee
I have been always hesitant when it comes to Mystery Quilts. That being said, I have LOTS of stash and decided that it would be fun to do. This would be my "first" as well, Denise, so we will be in this together!! Can not wait to do something with my stash.
A quilt will warm the heart.
