I know, somewhere, there is a forum for this. I will be darned in I can find it so.... Here is what I do to store my fat quarters.  I bought this shoe storage cabinet at Lowes. Lots of cubbies, and two drawers below for overflow. Plus, these cubbies are deep enough to get two rows of fat quarter,. in there.

Great idea Sukochi. My problem is that I'm trying to keep everything contained to one room. It's getting harder and harder.

I love it, Sukochi!  I wish I had room for something like that within my sewing room.  My FQs are in open shoeboxes in the pedestal drawers below the washer and dryer. (the laundry room is part of my sewing room)

Great Idea!  I have on in the bottom of my closet full of shoes.  I may have to rethink its function!

That is a great idea AND you can see easily what you have.

I have mine in clear plastic bins which are stacked under my cutting table. It was a great plan ... but when I need one, it is a struggle to find what I want.

Thanks for the suggestion of a cd cabinet. I just ordered one from Amazon and even found a place to put it in my sewing room!

Sukochi that is a great ideal and how neat your fq's are.  I have mine in a zippered fq container which fits on a top shelf.  It is great until I need one then I have to stretch way up to get it down which usually ends up hitting me on the head.  :)  If I only had space for this shelf.  I need to think of a place to put the extra bed that is in my sewing/room of doom.  Enjoy.
